Welcome to the new AFM Local 424 website.
The American Federation of Musicians (AFM) is the largest organization in the world dedicated to representing the interests of musicians, singers, songwriters, composers, arrangers and DJs.
The AFM has well over 90,000 members nationwide. We represent all styles of music—rock, alternative, classical, jazz, pop, country, folk, bluegrass, funk, R&B, gospel, J-Pop, K-Pop, world beat, singer/songwriter, Latin, contemporary Christian, big band, reggae and more.
With such active members as Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Counting Crows, Roberta Flack, Santana, Yo-Yo Ma, Sheila E, Suzanne Vega, The Goo Goo Dolls, Willie Nelson and Branford Marsalis, the AFM has strong representation in all areas of popular music.
The AFM has been promoting and protecting musicians for over 110 years.
